As per the introduction there is a need for a better flow through the drainage systems as are now seeing:
- Slime build up,
- Cases of odorous gases belching through traps.
- A “cancerous ” effect to PVC drainage pipes and fittings with the decay thought t lack of airflow..
- Septic systems sliming up as there is a limited draw of air to dry the soakage zones.
It is obvious that the need for a good vent system will improve many aspects in the drains where the slime is dried and falls and is washed away with the future flows,
